Ametropia
Ametropia is an umbrella term for all visual disorders in which patients usually have problems seeing objects clearly. The refractive power of the eye, which is determined by the cornea and lens, is decisive for sharp vision. If the refractive power of the eye is too high or too low, this can be corrected with glasses or contact lenses.
