Leaves and roots are obtained from the wild strawberry, but have no medicinal effect worth mentioning. The leaves have a pleasant smell and taste and are therefore often used as house tea, often mixed with blackberry leaves or woodruff.

Medicinal effect and application
No healing effect worth mentioning. Application as House tea. At Pastor Kneipp, strawberry leaf tea is recommended as a drink for ailing children and should promote their health.
preparation
Tea: 2 heaped teaspoons of strawberry leaves are poured over ¼ l of boiling water, let stand for 15 minutes, then strain.
