In the first phase of vomiting, the following can occur homeopathic medicines be applied:
- Colchicum
- Nux vomica
- Ipecacuanha
Colchicum
Prescription up to and including D3!
- Vomiting from bile and slime (Please also read our article on this Vomiting of bile)
- it was preceded by violent ones stomach pain
- Just the smell or the sight of certain food makes you vomit
- Great weakness
- Mouth dry
- much thirst
- Often associated with vomiting Convulsions accompanied glassy-slimy Diarrhea
- Tendency to circulatory weakness
Worsening of symptoms from food smell and cold.
Improvement through rest and warmth.
Typical dosage of Colchicum vomiting: Tablets D4, D6

Nux vomica
Prescription up to and including D3!
- Morning sickness with tendency to vomit
- About half an hour after eating stomach pain with a tendency to vomit
- The symptoms are often caused by alcohol and nicotine abuse
- Restless sleep, therefore tiredness and early in the morning a headache
- People with a quick temper who cannot tolerate contradiction
Worsening symptoms from eating, irritant abuse and in the morning hours.
Recovery through rest.
Typical dosage of Nux vomica vomiting: Tablets D4, D6

Ipecacuanha
Prescription up to and including D3!
- General tendency to vomit with a feeling of misery in the stomach which accompanies all complaints
- Fat, fruit and ice cream are often not tolerated
- Vomiting does not make it easier
- Tongue not covered
- Bad-tempered, irritable patients
- Worsening of symptoms in the evening and at night
