Schüssler salt No. 17: Manganum sulfuricum
application areas
Manganum sulfuricum can be used to relieve or prevent a number of diseases and conditions. These include, for example, an increased susceptibility to infection, eczema or psoriasis and allergic reactions of the body of all kinds. With regular use, it can also help to prevent the formation of atherosclerosis. This salt can also be used to support the treatment of hepatitis (inflammation of the liver), diabetes mellitus, gout, osteoporosis or diseases from the rheumatoid group (such as rheumatoid arthritis).
This salt can also be used for psychological problems such as depressive moods or severe mood swings. The wide range of applications is explained by the fact that Manganum sulfuricum acts on connective tissue structures that occur everywhere in the body. In addition, this salt also has an effect on blood formation and can be used in anemia (supportive), usually combined with salts No. 3 and No. 8.
Manganum sulfuricum for psychological symptoms
People with certain character traits naturally consume a larger amount of a certain salt than others, according to the teaching of Dr. Schüssler. Even if a simple "topping up" of the respective salt supply cannot simply make these character traits disappear or compensate for them, a gift of the corresponding salt can support the targeted work on one's own character. If you suspect an increased consumption of Manganum sulfuricum in yourself, you can, for example, pay attention to yourself whether you are prone to a certain overexertion or overwork, and come to terms with stressful situations without considering your own loss of strength or even consciously expose yourself to such situations.
Typically (but not necessarily!) The patients exercise regularly and a lot and are prone to allergic reactions. Often such persons also show a change between depressed mood and energetic excitement, while it is difficult for them not to take things too seriously. Accordingly, psychological symptoms in the case of a deficiency of Manganum sulfuricum also include listlessness, recurring depressive episodes, memory, concentration or learning disorders, especially as a result of stress and overwork.
Remedy picture
With the Schüssler salts you can recognize a person who needs a salt by certain external and personal characteristics. According to the teaching of Dr. Schüssler points out that certain character traits result in a higher consumption of certain salts. However, when it comes to external features, the so-called face analysis makes up the majority of this so-called remedy picture. Face analysis means that the features can be found on the face. In the case of the 17th Schüssler salt, such features are, for example, a yellowish or pale complexion, dry, itchy or flaky skin, torn corners of the mouth (“rhagades”) or poorly healing wounds.
By attaching to connective tissue structures, which occur all over the body in very different functions, other symptoms of a deficiency can be rather unspecific, which means that the symptoms sometimes do not point directly to a specific cause. Loss of drive, concentration disorders, learning disabilities or other psychological or neurological symptoms can be the result of a Manganum sulfuricum deficiency. A weak immune system and the resulting susceptibility to infection can also be among the symptoms.
Active organs
Manganum sulfuricum mainly affects bones, cartilage and connective tissue. Here it favors the build-up of these tissue structures, whereby it attaches to many places in the body. Storage organs for Manganum sulfuricum are the liver, kidneys, bone marrow and hair or the hair roots. However, this does not mean that only these body organs suffer from a lack of Manganum sulfuricum. Rather, using up the supply stored there has an effect on the performance of the whole body.
Usual dosage D6, D12
Manganum sulfuricum is usually used in potencies D6 and D12. It is then often recommended to take several globules or one or more tablets two to three times a day. The application of Manganum sulfuricum is almost always of a long-term nature, since the physical stores of this salt need a certain time to be replenished. Acute use of this salt is therefore rather unusual. If the salt is combined with another, the intake is usually alternated.
Globules
In addition to tablets, globules can also be used for internal use of Manganum sulfuricum. These should then dissolve in the mouth so that the active ingredients contained can be absorbed through the oral mucosa. A few globules are usually taken in this way several times a day, the potency is usually low (D6, D12 or sometimes even D3). A suitably trained specialist should be consulted for an individually adjusted dosage.
