Tramal® or Tramadol is a pain reliever from the group of opioids.
It is used to combat moderate to severe pain. Tramal® is only available from pharmacies and requires a prescription. However, Tramal® is one of the rare opioid pain relievers that are not subject to the Narcotics Act in Germany.
Active ingredient
Tramal® works through different mechanisms.
