Side effects are rare when taking Cimicifuga, but the following side effects may occur:
- Gastrointestinal complaints
- diarrhea
- allergic skin reactions (Hives, itchy skin, rash)
- Facial swelling
- Water retention in arms and legs (Edema)
- Weight gain (up to overweight)
Serious side effect Cimicifuga
In some cases it has been taking Cimicifuga as a therapeutic agent in the homeopathy Damage to the liver detected. It is therefore not advisable to take it if you have a known liver problem / disease.
